Labort Relations:
1. Employee welfare measures, further education, training, retirement systems, their implementation status, as well as agreements between labor and management and the measures taken to protect employee rights:
(1) Employee welfare measures:
The Company values labor-management relations and strives to meet the needs of employees in terms of work, safety, health, and other aspects to safeguard their rights and overall interests. In order to enhance employee welfare measures, the Employee Welfare Committee was established on October 12, 1988.
Employee welfare measures at the Company include holiday bonuses, employee stock ownership, employee stock trust, additional contributions to the retirement pension beyond 6%, internal and external education and training, wedding and funeral benefits, childbirth hospital visitation allowances, employee health check-ups, group insurance and major illness insurance, employee birthday celebrations, family days, and annual trips.

(2) Employee further education and training systems and their implementation:
1. Annual training plan:
(A) The Company periodically sends employees for external training or participation in seminars at relevant academic institutions. Additionally, internal educational training programs are organized to enhance employee skills and create overall benefits for the Company and its employees. In order to cultivate excellent talent necessary for the Company's operations and enhance knowledge and skills, the Company has established an "Education and Training Management Policy" that stipulates training requirements and rewards, while encouraging on-the-job training for employees.
Different levels of employees receive different levels of education and training. For example, general operational staff receive basic and execution-level courses, engineers receive specialized courses, and unit and department managers receive courses on management and planning.
  1. Research and Development Unit: Provides product technology, design and development, application tools, technical and specification training courses.
  2. Production Unit: Provides training courses on operating methods, workflow, and procedures.
  3. Quality Assurance Unit: Provides training courses on quality control methods, quality assurance systems, product inspection standards, instrument operation, and statistical techniques.
  4. Sales Unit: Provides training on market analysis and future trend analysis.
  5. Management Office: Provides training courses for new employees, labor safety and health training, and fire safety knowledge and drills.
  6. Finance Department: Provides training courses on financial analysis.
  7. Information Technology Unit: Provides training on office software applications and basic hardware repairs.
(B) On-the-job training: To enhance employees' professional knowledge, individuals may apply for education and training based on the "Annual Education and Training Plan."

2. Orientation training for new employees:
(A) Common training: Provides an introduction to the work environment, company overview, and necessary information for new employees, followed by an internship in the department designated by the supervisor.
(B) Professional training: To enhance employees' professional skills, necessary courses are arranged by department supervisors for new employees in their respective job roles.

(3) Retirement system and its implementation:
The Company has established an employee retirement policy in accordance with the Labor Standards Act and the Labor Pension Act. A retirement reserve is allocated monthly at a rate of 2% of the total salary paid and deposited into a dedicated account in the Trust Department of the Bank of Taiwan. At the end of each year, an actuary is appointed to calculate the retirement benefit liability to ensure its sufficiency. Retirement pension applications, review, and payment are processed in accordance with the Labor Standards Act. In addition, in accordance with the new labor retirement system implemented since July 1, 2005, as stipulated by the Labor Pension Act, for those who choose the new system, the Company allocates not less than 6% of the employee's monthly wage to the individual retirement account at the Labor Insurance Bureau. Employees may also contribute an additional 6% of their own choosing towards retirement savings based on their personal needs and preferences.

(4) Agreements between labor and management:
The Company operates in accordance with the Labor Standards Act, emphasizing the basic concept of "human-centric management" in its management system. Labor and management can achieve optimal coordination and communication through the following means:
A. Weekly management meetings: Mainly for communication on work-related issues, where information is passed from grassroots managers to superiors, and decisions are made based on consensus among employees at all levels.
B. Employee suggestion box: To provide a channel for employees to express their opinions, a Chairman's mailbox is set up to ensure that employees' opinions are fully expressed.
C. Employee Welfare Committee meetings: The committee members are employees themselves, allowing for in-depth discussions on employee welfare measures to achieve a win-win policy.
D. Regular labor-management coordination meetings are held quarterly, attended by unit supervisors and labor-management representatives, to discuss and communicate on significant employee benefits, company policies, and other relevant issues, which are recorded in meeting minutes.
E. Periodic meetings or discussions are held between employees and their supervisors. The Company actively encourages employees to utilize communication channels to directly express their opinions to the management level. Employees can also provide feedback or raise any issues or suggestions through the employee suggestion box. Any important organizational operational changes are communicated through announcement platforms to promote harmony between the employer and employees.
(5) Workplace and Employee Personal Safety Protection Measures:
A. Access control security:
1. Strict access control surveillance systems are in place day and night.
2. Security companies are contracted for night and holiday security maintenance.
3. Connected with the local police security units for vigilant measures.
B. Maintenance and inspection of various equipment:
1. Every two years, professional companies are commissioned to conduct public safety inspections in accordance with the regulations on public safety inspections and reporting for buildings.
2. Annual outsourced fire inspections are conducted in accordance with the Fire Services Act.
3. based on the Company's occupational safety and health guidelines, regular maintenance and inspections are carried out on various equipment such as high and low voltage electrical equipment, elevators, forklifts, air conditioning systems, water dispensers, vehicles, motorcycles, and fire safety equipment, on a daily/monthly/quarterly/half-yearly or annual basis.
C. Disaster prevention measures and emergency response:
1. The Company has established "Emergency Response Measures Management Procedures," "Safety and Environmental Health Management Regulations," "Emergency Response Plan Management Procedures," "Occupational Safety and Health Work Guidelines," "Occupational Safety and Health Disaster and Automatic Inspection Plan," "Facility Safety Maintenance Guidelines," and other disaster prevention and rescue precautions and accident reporting procedures. These clearly define the responsibilities and tasks of personnel at all levels of the Company in response to major events such as natural disasters.
2. In addition to establishing a fire brigade, the Company hires the competent fire department to conduct fire prevention and disaster preparedness training.
3. The safety and health of employees are promoted by the Management Department, which has a dedicated person in charge of occupational safety and health (full-time) and an occupational safety and health manager (part-time). The Company is registered with the South District Labor Inspection Office.
